Subject: Phyllis gets her chops

Phyllis gets more involved and shows her savvy against the bad guys. George Zuccco is the bad guy (surprised?) manning the latest version of the "death ray." The story moves right along and is entertaining.

One question: if the death ray depends on focusing two beams on the surface of an explosive material, how can it penetrate the walls of an arsenal?
